AlHilo
Notify me at launch

You talked to Laura on Thursday. Her mother's surgery is Tuesday.

AlHilo remembers what's going on with your people for you. You tell it out loud, twenty seconds, right after you hang up.

What forgetting costs

Every catch-up starts from zero

It's not that you don't care. It's that a hundred things happen in a week, and what your friend told you on Thursday doesn't survive to Friday.

30′

Half an hour catching up

And by the time you get to what you actually wanted to ask, you're already leaving.

1 month

The question that arrives late

"How did your mum's surgery go?" four weeks after it happened.

Again

Asking the same question twice

Asking twice says, without meaning to, that the answer didn't stick.

Why this matters

The people close to you predict your good life better than money does.

And those relationships run on concrete details: remembering that Tuesday is surgery day.

People. That's the circle someone really holds — and the one AlHilo is built for.

How it works

It's twenty seconds, on your way out

  1. 1

    You hang up the phone

Or leave the café. What you just did doesn't change at all: AlHilo isn't part of the conversation.

  2. 2

    You say it out loud

"Laura's mum has surgery on Tuesday and she's a wreck." No typing, no filling in fields.

  3. 3

    The thread saves itself

It's written and filed away, and the recording is deleted. You don't have to touch anything else.

The best part: you don't have to look for it

What matters comes to you

You don't have to remember to open the app or check in on anyone. If something's moving in your people's lives, it shows up on the home screen.

The home screen
What's happening this week in your people's lives, most urgent first. It's the only thing you see when you open the app.
Reminders only when they're worth it
If something has a date — surgery on Tuesday — you're reminded the day before. Never about how many days it's been since you called.
And if you want, you go deeper
Open Laura's page before calling her and see all her threads, her portrait and her rhythm. But you don't have to.

So there's no confusion

What AlHilo isn't

Not a social network

No profiles, no wall, no one to follow.

Not a CRM for friends

Your people aren't opportunities. No funnels, no priorities.

Not productivity

No streaks, no counters: turning it into homework is the fastest way to kill it.

Not a coach

It doesn't tell you what to say or judge how you treat anyone.

Your threads

What's done with what you save, and what isn't

You end up saving things about other people here, so this gets said plainly, in two columns.

This, yes

  • Your threads are yours, and nobody else reads them. They live in your account, so you get them back if you switch phones.
  • The recording is deleted as soon as the thread is written.
  • The transcript is used to write it and then discarded.
  • You can edit, delete a single thread, or delete everything at once.

This, no

  • Your data isn't sold or handed to advertisers.
  • No models are trained on what you save.
  • Nobody is told who you are or what you know.
  • There's no way to share your threads, and there won't be.

How it works under the hood, told in full

Before you decide

What everyone asks

Do I have to type?

No. You talk and the thread writes itself. If you'd rather type it, you can do that too.

Does the other person find out?

No. AlHilo doesn't send anything to anyone: it's yours, and only you read it.

What about iPhone?

Android only for now. Leave your email and I'll let you know if that changes.

See every question, answered

By signing up, your email is used only to notify you at launch: I'll send you an email to confirm it and nothing else. How I handle your data.
